I cannot thank this garage enough and especially Ian, who looked after us today! I turned up, unbooked, 40 mins away from home, with an awful screeching noise coming from the car, which wasn't for once the 3 young children that I had with me!
He was so kind and helpful and had us back on our way in no time at all. He spoke to me so generously and as an aside, the whole place was absolutely spotless!

Absolutely amazing service!!! From the moment I picked up the phone to call they reassured me. They went above and beyond to make sure my car was ready ahead my wedding day just 2days later. Really fair and honest pricing. I would recommend 100% will definitely be returning for my mot/service.

As an elderly woman on her own I needed a reliable and trust worthy garage to service/repair and mot my car, luckily I found Shire Cars. Over the years I have found them to be very helpful and trustworthy, with the ability to explain in simple terms any problems that occurred with my car. As I have decided to give up driving I will no longer need the services of a reliable garage but would like to thank all members of staff and send my good wishes for their continued success in the future. We have used shire cars for over 15 years, and our experiences have been excellent. We run a renault espace which we love. A couple of years ago the complete heating system went down. No demisting, they removed the dashboard completely, to replace a relay and then re assembled it, on hell of a job. Hours and hours of work, £1600 bargain. Latest episode, a mouse got into engine and made a nest and chewed the electrical wiring to to the auto gear box . They managed to scource a required electrical plug, whi h had been chewed, the only one in the country , repaired the wiring, got thst working
I really appreciated all the help provided by the staff and the care they took to handle my car! I needed a cambelt and water pump change + servicing and they did a great job. They also took their time to explain to me all the process that was required for the cambelt change plus what they did during my service, they were very attentive. I will definitely recommend this car service.
A very open and honest conversation about the issue my car had, first time I’ve taken my car to a garage for a large issue and not felt that they tried to take more money than they needed to from me. Great lads can’t recommend enough
Very helpful in getting my gearbox sorted and a new clutch, helped keep the cost down and kept me updated on the work being done.
